Pneumatic DPF Cleaning
Pneumatic DPF cleaning, known in the market, is applied directly to the DPF pores one by one with high air flow and pressure. This method requires very high air compressor power when used alone, and the DPF often needs to go through a series of processes before pneumatic cleaning. EMİRMAK applies the pneumatic cleaning method superficially with a special air shock tank, since hydrodynamic cleaning will be done in the next stage, there is no need for a deep application, thus high equipment costs and more labor are not required.
Hydrodynamic DPF Cleaning
With the EMIRMAK circulating hydrodynamic DPF cleaning method, the circulation pump continuously circulates hot water and special DPF cleaning solution into the DPF channels. A minimum of 8 tons of water per hour passes through the DPF channels. During the circulation, pneumatic cleaning is done, that is, an air pulse is applied, thus hydrodynamics occur and the DPF channels are completely cleaned. In other hydrodynamic cleaning methods on the market, some water is pressed into the DPF and then compressed air pressure is applied to create hydrodynamics and this method repeating 30 - 50 times. This method alone is very insufficient. It is impossible to clean catalytic and DPFs, especially crystallized and carbon layer formed, with this method. Because there is no continuous water passage through the DPF channels and it is mostly applied with cold water, and cold water does not dissolve petrified and crystallized dirt. Thermal DPF Cleaning
With the EMIRMAK thermal cleaning method, high flow hot air is applied into the DPF. This hot air is around 120 -250 C and is the final cleaning stage. It both dries the DPF after hydrodynamic cleaning and clean dirtys. In the thermal DPF cleaning method known in the market, very high temperature ovens are used because thermal cleaning is generally applied alone, so ovens with temperatures up to 1200 C are used. This method is insufficient when used alone and requires waiting for a long time for heating and cooling. Service on the same day is not possible. Moreover, it may cause cracking in the DPF due to heating and cooling.
